There's No Place Like Home
Pet Sitters
ABOUT US
Colleen Kelley founded There's No Place Like Home Pet Sitters in 1994. She graduated
with a B.A. in psychology from The College of New Jersey. After years of working in
corporate America, she started one of the first pet sitting companies in Monmouth County.
Due to the increasing popularity and public awareness of the benefits of in home pet care,
Colleen was invited to appear on Channel 12 New Jersey News "Pet Stop". The Asbury
Park Press also featured TNPLH in their January 2001
Business on the Run.

Professional Care & Service
Our mission is to provide professional, quality and loving care on a small, personalized
scale. Although we have a client base of over 400 clients and eight bonded and insured
staff members, Colleen is hands on and spends most of her days out visiting with our furry
friends or she is in the play yard with our doggie daycare visitors.

Continuing Education & Experience
As a member of The National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS), Colleen has
attended conferences in Dallas, San Francisco, New Orleans, Philadelphia, and San
Antonio. These conferences promote continuing education within the pet care industry and
have included seminars on pet first-aid, understanding and caring for senior pets and
aggression assessment. Through the years TNPLH pet sitters has had invaluable
experience with companion animals that have special needs. We have been entrusted with
diabetic and insulin dependent cats and dogs, as well as those undergoing chemotherapy
treatments. We also have vast experience with blind and deaf pets. In addition to
companion animals, TNPLH pet sitters has cared for service dogs owned by the Morristown
and Westchester Seeing Eye, and the U.S. Government D.E.A. (Drug Enforcement
Agency). Greyhound rescues have also found experienced care at TNPLH.
We at TNPLH are dedicated to continuing education. We meet regularly with peers, vets,
vet techs, trainers and other experts in the field so that we are constantly on top of
everything there is to know in the pet care industry. TNPLH also participates in many
Monmouth County SPCA events.

Staff
Being that most of the twenty communities TNPLH serves are in the suburban New York
City area, daily commuter runs are in popular demand. The daily commuter runs and
vacation home visits are serviced by a staff of eight bonded and insured pet sitters. Each
staff member that is a part of TNPLH pet sitters truly loves animals! We enjoy the time we
spend with your pets and very often come up with our own nicknames for them! Your pets
become part of our extended furry family!
We all have been long time residents of Monmouth County and all have numerous animals
of our own that range from dogs, cats, hamsters, bunnies, reptiles, birds and even
donkeys! We are now entering our 16th year in business and we continue to enjoy your
amazing pets!
